George Josephakis is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of G. Josephakis Audit Ltd, based in Cyprus, with more than 30 years of audit experience across Cyprus, the United Kingdom, Romania, and Greece. He holds a degree in Accounting and Finance and a postgraduate qualification specializing in Anti-Money Laundering (AML). He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), a Fellow Member of the Association of International Accountants (AIA) in the United Kingdom, and a member of the International Compliance Association (ICA). He serves on the Board of the Association of International Accountants and chairs the Regulatory Oversight and Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Committee. In addition, he represents the AIA at the European Federation of Accountants and Auditors, based in Brussels, participating in the Audit and Assurance Experts Committee and the Digital Working Group Experts Committee. He has over 20 years of experience as a lecturer, specializing in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA). He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of CPA Kudos Greece.
