CPA Kudos Greece was dynamically present at the 9th Economist Impact Sustainability Conference for Southeastern Europe and the Mediterranean, held on 13-14 October 2025 in Athens, with the participation of Dimitris Dimitriou, CEO & Founder, and Irini Tsesmelis, Partner, Accounting & Tax Advisor.
At a time of heightened geopolitical tensions and socio-political contestation of the green transition, this year’s event brought to the fore critical questions about the future of ESG, climate policy and sustainable development.
The main theme of the conference, “Seeking a new balance amidst a derailed green transition“, reflected the challenges that international and European institutions face in their efforts to maintain their leading position in the green economy, without compromising competitiveness and energy security.
The Economist conference was another milestone in the dialogue that reinforces knowledge, but also the responsibility of all of us to move forward with coherence, adaptability and substance.
