CPA Kudos Greece participated with a substantial presence in the International Conference of the European Federation of Accountants and Auditors for SMEs 2025, held in Marseille on 23 May 2025. The theme of the conference was “The role of small and medium-sized accounting firms (SMPs) in enhancing the competitiveness of the private and public sector in Europe”.
The Association of International Accountants (AIA), led by its President, Shahram Moallemi, and senior executives of the organization, participated dynamically in the conference, while on behalf of Greece, CPA Kudos Greece was at the heart of the proceedings, focusing on the sustainable transition and ESG compliance of SMEs.
As a member of the AIA Greece Management Committee, Dimitris Dimitriou, CEO of CPA Kudos Greece, participated in the conference program, and together with George Iosifakis, AIA Council Member and close associate of the company, presented the findings of the nationwide survey conducted by CPA Kudos Greece in collaboration with MRB Hellas entitled “ESG and SMEs”.
As a member of the AIA Greece Management Committee, Dimitris Dimitriou, CEO of CPA Kudos Greece, took part in the official program of the conference. Alongside George Josephakis, AIA Council Member and a close partner of the firm, he presented the key findings of the nationwide research conducted by CPA Kudos Greece in collaboration with MRB Hellas, titled “ESG and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises”.
The presentation of the Greek case was a case study in the context of the conference, highlighting the difficulties, but also the potential for SMEs to comply with the ESG criteria.With the European Union reviewing part of its ESG strategy, the intervention of CPA Kudos Greece came to remind that the progress achieved should not be undermined, but should be reinforced with targeted policies for smaller businesses.
