CPA Kudos Greece is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. George Josephakis, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Audit, Assurance & Compliance Leader of the company, to the Assurance Expert Group of the European Federation of Accountants and Auditors for SMEs (EFAA), following a relevant decision by the EFAA’s Board of Directors.
This new distinction complements his already active participation in the EFAA’s Digital Working Group, reaffirming his consistent involvement in European initiatives that shape developments in the field of auditing, assurance, accounting, and professional services.
Participation in the European Expert Group on Audit and Assurance
The Assurance Expert Group is one of the EFAA’s four technical expert groups, and it focuses on audit and assurance issues. Through its specialized groups, it promotes the exchange of expertise and contributes to the European dialogue and policy-making regarding professional standards and regulatory developments in the sector.
George Iosephakis’s participation in the Assurance Expert Group and the Digital Working Group creates additional opportunities for collaboration and the exchange of views with professionals from across Europe in two areas that will decisively shape the future of the industry: the quality of audit and assurance services and the digital transformation of professional practices.
